Handling Firearms at RRPC
Never Handle Firearms When Others Are Downrange of You
Always observe the No Handling of any Firearm rule at any firing line when anyone is downrange (forward of your position). Touching a firearm in any condition, or in any way whatsoever, while someone else is forward of your position is NOT permitted. This includes casing and uncasing of firearms. This means WAIT until the line is declared HOT.
Personal Protection Handguns
Handguns carried for Personal Protection ( i.e. concealed carry) MUST REMAIN HOLSTERED until reaching a HOT firing line.
No show and tell with firearms (loaded or unloaded) in the parking lot, etc.

Lower Ranges
Ranges include: Action Pistol and Tactical, All Rifle Ranges, Pistol Range, Steel Range, and Plinking Range.

Classrooms With Firearms
No ammunition is allowed in any classroom where firearms are being handled. This includes loaded personal protection handguns.
Handling Firearms When Someone is Downrange
Touching a firearm in any condition, or in any way, whatsoever, while someone else is forward of your position changing targets etc. is not permitted at RRPC.
Fully Automatic Firearms
Members with FULL-AUTO firearms must be approved by the Class 3 Committee before using them at the club. Full auto fire is permitted on the Plinking Range and Indoor Range only. Email class3@rrpc.org for more information or to apply for certification.
Bump Fire Stocks / Binary Triggers / Forced Reset Triggers /
Bump fire stocks are not permitted at RRPC.
Firearms fitted with binary triggers (fire on pull AND release), forced reset triggers, super safeties and similar devices may only be used on the Plinking Range forward of the vertical red line at 25 yards.
